So my mom decided to clean my room. In theory this is awesome, but because the scanner's USB cord was hanging over the edge, she decided to put it underneath a very, very, VERY heavy dictionary (it's like. . . ten pounds of WORDS. It's odd).

Now the USB cord is all smushed-like and I CAN'T USE MY SCANNER DDDDDD:
